2017 ACW Planning Retreat Summary
The Anglican Church Women (ACW) of St. Ann Chapel Anglican Church had its first annual planning retreat on June 10, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. This event was open to all women in the parish.

Considerations for 2018
- ACW sponsorship and support of spiritual-development activities such as retreats and quiet days for the parish and possibly with other nearby churches
- ACW’s engaging with other ACW chapters in a regional project (for example, the Nappy Drive)
- Work with Sunnyvale Community Services
- Sponsorship of support groups for people who have lost a spouse, new mothers, survivors of abuse, people who have lost their jobs, or older workers who have trouble finding work
- Exploration of ministries that advocate for women and address modern needs rather than reinforce traditional roles
- Further discussion and exploration of the idea of providing “professional mentoring”
- Provision of volunteers for conversation practice for English learners
