APCK Lenten Retreat 2018

Several members of St. Ann Chapel gathered together at the Vallambrosa Retreat Center in Menlo Park for the Lenten Retreat 2018.

The retreat took place over the weekend leading up to Passion Sunday. Retreat participants included Glenn and Carol Karcher, Fr. Weber, Canon Stephen Dart, Michael Fitzpatrick, and Kirk MacArthur. The retreat included a vow of silence from Friday Compline until Morning Prayer on Sunday. During the silence, meditations on St. Antony were read during meals. It was a beautiful and restorative event, and all the participants strongly encouraged others to consider coming next year, especially in the off chance that Carol surprises everyone with Celtic songs!
