The Book of Common Prayer teaches us that the sacraments are an “outward and visible sign of an inward and spiritual grace” as ordained by Christ himself.  We believe that the sacraments are a means whereby we receive God’s grace and are assured of God’s love for us.

We are a sacramental church, believing that God works through matter in the waters of Holy Baptism and in the bread and wine of the Holy Eucharist.  We believe in the Real Presence of Christ in the communion elements, wherein he offers himself as true spiritual food and drink to nourish our spirits.

At St. Ann Chapel, we invite everyone seeking a closer union with Christ to receive or prepare to receive the comforts of the primary sacraments of Baptism and the Holy Eucharist.  We believe that Confirmation, Penance, Unction of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony, and Unction of the Sick are also sacraments.

We invite all baptized Christians who confess the faith that the Nicene Creed expresses to join us in receiving the Holy Eucharist.  If you wish to receive only a blessing instead, we encourage you to come forward to the altar during communion and cross your arms across your chest; the priest will give you a blessing instead of the communion elements.

If you would like to make an appointment for a private confession, a hospital visit, or a discussion about some matter that concerns you, contact Fr. Weber, our Vicar, by phone, by email, or through the contact link on this website.
